NEW Intermediate Foundation and Intermediate Courses

The full Terms and Conditions applicable to these courses can be found in the Introduction to the new Intermediate Foundation and Intermediate examination syllabi pamphlet. Applicants are expected to be familiar with these when applying for a course.

Applicants are urged to apply early as these courses are filling up rapidly.

Application forms:
Application forms have been distributed with previous issues of our publications but are also available on request from the RAD office in Johannesburg.

Confirmation:
Applicants will receive a confirmation of their course shortly after the closing date. The confirmation letter will contain details of venue, times (including registration) and what to bring.

Times & Duration
Each day will consist of three hours in the morning and three hours in the afternoon, with an hour for lunch. Nine hours tuition will be allocated to each level. All course times are likely to be 9am – 4pm daily. Each level will run for 1½ days therefore the morning of day two will be to complete content of Intermediate Foundation and Intermediate will commence after the lunch break.

Course venues will be advised to applicants after the closing date.

Participants should bring their own lunch.

Clothes and resources
Participants should wear comfortable clothes and shoes for the practical sessions and bring pen and paper with them, together with copies of the set exercises and variations (syllabus) for each level. The syllabi are available from the Academy in Johannesburg and should be purchased in advance of the course.

Fees
The member fee is applicable to all Registered Teachers and students enrolled on RAD Faculty of Education programmes such as CBTS. All other applicants pay the non-member fee.
